Sources of Inspiration and Personal Learning
Keeping up with trends in education and advances in educational technology can be a full time job. Although I am not always on the cutting edge of everything, I have many sources that I turn to for inspiration and my own personal learning.
Social MediaTwitter, Facebook, Google+, and Pinterest are useful for more than keeping in touch with friends and families. They are about making connections with people around the world. I have primarily split my social media by using facebook for personal and twitter for edtech.

Conferences and OrganizationsI regularly attend the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning conference.
Although I have never personally attended the International Society for Technology in Education conference. I am a member of the organization and often participate remotely. The World of TED TalksIf you haven't explored the word of TED, you should. TED talks focus on "ideas worth spreading." The original focus was Technology Entertainment and Design but its topics have a greater reach.
