Projector Issues
My computer is connected, but my screen does not show on the projector
- Are you using the correct drop? Many classrooms have an "A" and "B" location. If you have not used your projector yet, try the other location to see if that is the active one.
- PC users: Check to make sure that you are sending the signal to the projector. Look for the key that shows a laptop and full screen. (The school provided Dells is Fn + F8) make sure it is not "Computer Only"
- Mac users: Check your display settings to make sure you have mirroring on and if you haven't already, pick up a new adapter from me.
- If you have checked the above and it still isn't working, let me know. We have found a few locations of faulty equipment and a few locations where only one drop works. I'll switch which location is active to see which problem you have and report it to Barton Malow.
My Pen is and cursor do not line up
- You can manually calibrate your projector. Here are the instructions from the Epson website.
- Mac users, the dimensions of your screen may have changed. If you go into the display settings (while connected to your projector and markers) there should be something called "Underscan". Drag the bar with the marker until they match.
